Dinner Near my House

Just back from my dinner at somewhere near my house. This kopitiam has lots of choices of food range from rice, mee, laksa, pasembur, chee cheong fan to western food. I love this place a lot because the food here very nice and near my house. So these are what i had tonight.



SIAM FRIED RICE- normal siam style fry rice but taste good and cheap, just RM3. I am rice lover so this plate can fill my tummy.



PENANG LAKSA... This bowl of laksa taste really nice. Look at the fish , so big. The laksa here is one of the best in Penang. You cant see any vege in my laksa because i dont like vege in laksa, only the mee and fish and the soup. Yum Yum.

Dinner At Road Side

I had dinner with my KL friends at Kimberley street. This is one of my favourite place to eat a few kinds of best food in Penang.



Each of us having a bowl of famous “KUEY CHAP” (粿汁) means flat noodles with broth. Yum yum served together with the chili.



This place served one of the best CHAR KWAY TEOW in Penang. I ordered one big plate with less chili as my friends could not take spicy food.



Next are BRAISED CHICKEN FEET . My gf loves the chicken feet at this place a lot.



THONG SUI of the day served together with Yao Zha Guai.

Lunch at Kampung Benggali

Today I bring my kl friends to Butterworth for lunch. I forget the name of the kopitiam but it's in a very old shop house. I have been there for a few times and the food there is liked home-cooked style. When the food were served, i hold them back because I want to snap the pictures of the food. They told me that they will take it too. So all the "photographers" starting to snap the pictures (some standing, some sitting from different angles)....macam very pro
Below are the food that i order today:



CURRY PRAWNS - The curry is not spicy at all and very creamy and the prawns are big. My friends say that this dish very yummy lo.

FISH IN DARK SOY SAUCE - very nice dish as well, with 3 pieces of deep fried fish with dark soy sauce on it. A little bit spicy and you can taste the lemon sauce in it.


KAILAN WITH OYSTER SAUCE


BELACAN CHICKEN- My friend like this dish, for me it's taste quite normal because they are using breast part but i prefer drumstick or thigh part.


The SALTY VEGE TAOFU SOUP- We have this soup to serve with our rice, inside the soup have fish cakes, fish balls, salty vege, taofu and some minced meat.

Heavy Supper at Coffee Island

I went to Coffee Island tonight, this is the new night spot for gathering in Penang. I had a heavy supper here today. 2 hours before i reach this place , I just had my dinner - mixed rice. But then 2 hours later, below are the food and drinks that i ordered.



One glass of my favourite drink here- Orange juice



Egg and ham sandwiches, it serves two pieces but then i took this picture after eating one of it. After eating the sandwiches, still not full, then i asked for the menu again.



This time i am looking for something not that heavy, so decided to order this Nissin Noodle with Egg and sausages. After taking the picture i realize one thing, where is THE EGG? Seems that they have missed out the egg, i told them and they add one egg to the noodle. The taste is just normal. I can cook better than this for sure.

Overall, the food here is just average but the environment here is nice.

First Visit to Paddington House of Pancakes

I went to this restaurant at Queensbay Plaza weeks ago. My gf keep asking me to try out this restaurant. Actually i am not pancake-lover, but then just try it since my gf love it so much.


Victory Sign can eat at her favourite place

So each of us order a lunch set at only RM13.80+ (Main course ,a beverage choices and a special dessert )



My gf had this BRUSSEL SET comprises of cheesy beef bacon, onions ,mozzarella, sunny side-up, baked beans and guacamole on organic buckwheat galette. I think that the set that i ordered taste better than this



I had this TOKYO SET - grilled chicken, tomatoes, chicken ham, oyster mushroom, mozzarella, mashed potatoes served with rolled pannekoek (macam popiah). The taste quite nice except the chicken a bit hard and dry (breast part).



The Pancake Sundaes were a disappointment. Inside were fluffy pancakes with creamy vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam. The taste is nice but my gf told me that the dessert is so small compared to the one she tried before in KL. Look at the pic then you know lo, i can finished it in less than 5 spoons.


Overall, i think the food quite ok and the price quite reasonable. I will return again for the food.

Roast Duck Pasta

I don't think you can find this dishes in any restaurant, it's home made. I cooked this weeks ago, now just free to upload the pic into my computer. I learned the recipe online, quite easy to cook and taste quite ok lo, not that bad (still room for improvement). Can pm me if you need the recipe to cook this.

This is not MONKEY. It's a puppy, Please save them

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - More than 300 stray dogs that were dumped on isolated islands turned to cannibalism after weeks of starvation, animal welfare activists said Thursday.

The plight of the dogs cast away by villagers on two small, uninhabited islands off Malaysia's western Selangor state ignited outrage after activists this week released photographs showing dogs eating the carcasses of ones that had died.

Residents of a fishing village on Pulau Ketam, another island off Selangor, caught the dogs last month and took them to the islands covered in mangroves. The villagers said they never intended to be cruel — they believed the dogs could feed on the deserted islands' wildlife — but wanted to rid their island of dogs that defecate on the streets and sometimes bite children.

A team from the Selangor Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals visited one of the islands — Pulau Selat Kering — on Monday and saw several emaciated dogs "crowded and hunched around something — they were hungrily feasting on the remains of another dog," the SPCA said in a statement.

"Nearby, a weak dog was screaming because several dogs were trying to bite her," it said.

Volunteers have so far rescued two dogs and left food for the others, said SPCA official Jacinta Johnson. They estimate 200 might have survived. Activists would also try to rescue any dogs left on the other island, Pulau Tengah.

Pulau Ketam's residents have said some dogs tried to swim back to their island, about a half-hour boat ride away, but it was not clear how many succeeded.

Efforts to save the dogs have been slow because many were fearful of people and scampered into mangrove swamps when rescuers approached, Johnson said.

Activists have persuaded Pulau Ketam's villagers not to dump any more dogs and are considering measures such as sterilization and relocation to ease problems posed by an estimated 2,000 stray dogs, the SPCA said.


Please Save The DOGs
How can people be so cruel to the dogs just dumped them in a hell island full of snakes and brunches without any food and water? Don't you believe in karma, imagine one day if you were dumped like the dogs, how do you feel?

Thank God still have some nice people who volunteers to rescue and save those dogs from the hell island. For us that we can't help in rescuing the dog from the island, may be at least what we can do now is to donate.
